Down the East Coast

A few buddies and I are packing our skis in a truck and driving down the east coast, from Maryland to Fort Lauderdale. We are stopping at Daytona and a few other spots, we will be driving down 95 so i was wonder what the best surf stops along the coast are. Any suggestions?

Take the Eastern Shore route and stop in Virginia Beach.
