SXR Drive shaft seal ?

Hey guys i had my ski out of the water and i saw that im missing a seal #92093. http://www.kawasakipartsnation.com/..._(2005)/JET_PUMP/JS800-A3-2005/I35I3517E31912

Am i ok to ride until i get a new one on? or will it affect my bearings? to my understanding it only seals the splines from the drive shaft to the pump, am i right??

anyone know if that seal is needed other than maybe better water flow?

It keeps the water from washing the grease out of your drive shaft splines. You do want to run one. When you get a new one, make sure the splines are nice and clean on the shaft and in the impeller, then grease it up well with some marine grease.
