Have a few questions with the set up of the dry pipe. here is a pictures of the way its set up with the wet pipe.
wetpipesetup.jpg

Now here is a set up i drew with the dry pipe. the purple line is form the head to....idk what its supposed to do, i know on the back of the dry pipe towards the bulk head there is a fitting, dose that go into the top of the head of dose it go to the outside of the boat aka pisser or out the rear. I know the rear line on the head gose to the pisser on the outsdie of the boat. I also know that on the stiger there is another brass fitting that also goes to a pisser. There is a brass fitting that goes from top of dry pipe to stiger that has its own hose on it. But its the brass firring on the head facoing the front of the ski i am confused about, and the brass fitting on the pipe in the back facing the bulk head.

Ill make this as simple as possible, as it appears that you have just single cooling. I would recommend dual cooling, but this first setup is for single cooling:

1. Water comes in FROM the pump to the manifold, you have that correct.
2. The fitting on the rear of the head goes to the fitting on the rear of the pipe by the bulkhead.
3. The fitting on the front of the head goes over to a pisser.
4. Your hose from the top of the dry pipe is already attached so you're good to go.
5. The other fitting at the stinger (the brass one) is also a pisser.

For DUAL Cooling, which I recommend highly with a dry pipe:

1. Water comes from the pump to the manifold.
2. Water comes from the other fitting on the pump, to the rear brass fitting of the pipe by the bulkhead. To do this you have to drill and tap your pump on the opposite side of your pump from the original factory fitting. You then use the other thru-hull tube for your new, second, IN line. This tube, from the factory, is actually a pisser as well. You will only need it to bring water in now. This tube is on the LEFT side of the firewall, if you;re looking at your ski from the front.
3. BOTH fittings on the head go to pissers.
4. and 5. stay the same.

Hope that helps.

Thank you so much for making this as clear as day for me. I think i am going to go for dual cooling so i dont over heat my ski, and two i like that i can have alot of pisser ha

Just a quick question, the front of the head, 3. The fitting on the front of the head goes over to a pisser. you mean front like front of the boat correct like the line closet to the fuel tank?

Yes, that is correct.

Quite honestly, dual cooling is the only way to go. Unless it is a bone stock motor with ONLY a dry pipe or wet pipe, then you can run single cooling.

Riding hard, and having more than just a pipe, will make that motor very hot. Keeping it as cool as possible is your safest bet.

My buddy has a wet piped limited with single cooling and he could never get it to run right, and smoked it. Finally he plumbed dual cooling and has had zero problems.

The dual cooling version I gave you should work just fine. I run a completely different setup, but my head has 6 fittings for water, and its quite complicated as a whole. Riding wide open for a full race requires it though, or else it just gets hotter than we'd all like.

The setup I gave you is basically 2 circuits. One cooling circuit does the head/cylinder, and the other one does the pipe alone. If you have any more questions about it or would like to know maybe a different way, PM me. This should work just fine though!

Another question, did you use the brass water restrictors at all with the dual cooling set up? I just got my pipe and everything and im looking at them now.

Do you mean the main jets that you can screw into the stinger? No I don't, because I run my pipe really dry and if I used the main jet restriction, I would melt my foam around the tank and the coupler between the waterbox and stinger. You can use it if you want, I just don't, along with a bunch of other skis around here with similair setups

I am not expert on this but FPP does have the instructions on their website for both the wet and dry SXR pipes.

I am going to run my ski with a similar dual cooling setup. 1 line/system for engine cooling and 1 line/system for the pipe.

This way you can pump as much water as possible to the engine for maximum cooling. Than you also dry out the pipe as much as you want without over heating the engine. Of course I will have a wet pipe set up.
