dual cooling?? needed??

im running a b pipe with a stock head as of now with stock compression...but i have an ada on the way with 185 compression...i was wondering with this head would i be ok to run my single cooling?? or would i have to go with dual?
would the stock bilge be a good source or should i tap the pump and mani

the water temps now are cold but once summer rolls around they will be fairly warm

Thanks

I'm running the same setup, B-pipe, ADA head w/35cc domes. I run dual cooling and ride on Lake Erie. I set mine up for dual cooling when I was living in the south. To be honest, i really don't think we need it up here... even in mid summer when the lake temps reach mid 70's, I think dual cooling is overkill for the north.

To answer your question about the stock bilge... yes, you can use that for a dual cooling water source however, you'll need to drill and tap your pump to install a 90 degree brass fitting... as the bilge works as a siphon and will not feed water into that line as it is currently set up.

Single cooling......remember keeping your already engine too cold is actually hurting performance. Esp in your area

No need to go to dual until your up to porting...and even then not really needed, but good to have

i have dual running into my manifold from both sodes of the pump and i have it turned down to the equivalent output of about single...i am running close to the same setup as you now.....i only setup dual because i have a ported big bore on the way.
