dual cooling question

my 90 SN pump has a 5/8 hole opposite the cooling side
when oem vacuum connected.
what is the best way attach second cooling water nozzle?

trying to decide if I need to tap hole and use bushing for cooling water nozzle
or just use cut off stock hose and reducer

i went to lowes and got a big npt copper threded peice that already been tapped for a smaller fitting in the middle..i dont know if this is the best idea but it worked for me..

I know someone that filled it with JB weld, then tapped it.

I'm doing the same thing as well. I filled mine with JB weld then im going to tap a hole on the pump for the fitting.

sry to threadjack but real quick...is a sn pipe and rn pipe interchangeable? reason i ask is the roundnose has that thing filled in.
