Dual mukuni 44's fuel line pressure?

I have dual mikuni 44s on my blaster B1. I want to test the the fuel pressure created by the diaphragms. i suspect that they may be weak. I plan on using a fuel pressure tester and using a Tee fitting inline between the fuel filter and the carb fuel line. But what pressure should these carbs produce? thanks

Im not sure that will work. Are you talking about teeing in to the fuel supply line? id check the pulse line going to the carb from the case, make sure you dont have a lose hose, they need to be tight. Carbs need new daiphrams every few years, it just happens but im not sure testing the supply will diagnose a bad diaphram. Id look for an air leak somewhere first.

Oh i could be wrong, PM smoofers, hes a pretty fart smeller, especially with stuff like that.

There will be no pressure anywhere between your tank and carburetors, maybe a slight vacuum. If there is a way to do it it would be through your return line somehow. I don't think there is any reason to do this. As mentioned make sure your pulse line(s) (from your motor cases to carburetor) are in good shape. Pull your fuel pumps appart and inspect for any creases in the clear diaphragm or check valves. If anything looks suspect order a OE Mikuni rebuild kit for both carbs.

No chance your talking about pop off pressure are you?

If you still have the stock restrictors in the carbs and not a jet in the return like then you will have next to know pressure in the return line either
Why are you looking is it for interest or do you have an issue

Thanks guy, ever since i added my advent ignition the ski doesnt want to idle in the water. Seems like it starving out unless i keep the rpm above 1850. Things revs too high at idle on trailer then wont idle in water. Ski runs great and doesnt feel lean at all other times. Pulls hard all the time not lean during power band. seems like it has weak vacuum at idle and cant full fuel.

If the only thing you did was to add an ignition, what makes you think your carbs are faulty?
