I think is encase the guy doesnt pay- you can offer the next bidder the price or something similar? Its normal it has come up on every auction i have done.

Sounds like the scammers sent the bogus message to the seller (you) instead of the losing bidders. Have never really seen that before but who knows?

Ebay always gives that option for any seller. Cause Ebay know a lot of people punk out on their purchases and it allows you to sell it to the next bidder in line. Don't worry about it if you got payed you won't need to use it.

make sure the money is in your paypal account. there are a lot of scammers out there who create e-mails that state, there is money in the account and provides the shipping address (thinking you will ship it, without checking the account). Always check the account yourself to make sure. Also there are a lot ebay scammers for e-mails too... always check with any account, never e-mails. If you scroll down the e-mails you get after a sale and after you receive of payment, at the bottom if it says hotmail, yahoo, or anything like that in fine print, its a fake. ---

another way they get you, is they send you an email... faking like its ebay sending you the email. You sign in under the email, obviously not paying attention. And they get all your info. My buddy did this on accident and the people were listing MX stuff and alot of car stuff... They even got his paypal stuff... pretty dangerous, it was lucky we caught it before it got to far!

yah I think I'm probably done with 550's for now
I won't be camping (sounds like a good party time though), but I hope to make it over from our cabin at least one of the days, heck maybe both days.
