Edge with 144, 148 or 155mm pump

Hi, I have a dilemma, please tell me your opinion. I have a 2019 Edge for freeride with a 950 engine and an OEM 144 pump. The question is, is changing the pump to 148 mag or 155 have a significantly greater effect? If so, does it need to be adjusted a lot? Thank you very much.

The pump has to be the most over looked part on the drive line. The pump/prop/nozzle puts the power to the water. Im a huge fan of the torrent pumps. 735 LPW with oem 155 then put the torrent 155 set back, 701 PHP with a skat 144 mag then put a 148 torrent. Both pump swaps made a very noticeable gain.

I’ve had them with 701s,760,1000 Dasa and now 950 Dasa

Match those with the right pitch impeller and it’s perfect

All I do is ride surf and those setups have been in My FR2 and Edges. I’m sure those fancy expensive pumps are sweet but OEM 155 pump set up right is where it’s at and not very expensive

What kind of 155 pump shoes you had used on FR2 ?
