El Jefe's Gen 1.5 BOB Ski - Questions

Hey guys, I have been on the forum for a few years, but mostly a browser. I purchased a BOB Ski on here about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, before this year haven't had much time to make it the lakes here in New Mexico (blown out knee, surgery, and job change - kept me pretty busy). This year though I have been riding the ski a few times, and finally getting it to where I want it.

I have a couple of questions.....

1. I feel my handlepole sits too close to the hood, and I noticed some guys have a taller resting pad on their hood, where is the best place to get these? Also, mine looks like it is too far towards the front of the ski which might be some of the issue.
   
2. I need a new hood ratchet and strap, where is the best place to get these?

Several folks are making hood pads now, or you can make your own out of some dense foam easily.

I also found freerideinnovations.co.uk, but they are in the UK. I don't really know what size to go with, but their 65mm pad looks pretty good.

Thanks for the link. Actually Luke, who codyadams recommended, hooked me up with a 3" one for $20 shipped. Can't beat that, and all I gotta do is install. Already on order, hoping to get before Wednesday when I head to the lake. LOL

@codyadams209 Thanks for the tip on Luke, got my hood pad on Monday, installed last night. I will post some pics of it. Luke is awesome, $20 shipped, and got it Monday.

Can barely see it, and would've never noticed it if you hadn't said something. That is awesome.

So you originally bought it I assume? What do you know about it?

It appears to look new still. It was a warranty replacement hull for my #6 hull that cracked at the hood seal the first time I tried to flip it. I only rode it a few times. I sold it to get a superfreak.

It is in good shape, but not new, it has a few flaws in the paint and decals, but nothing major at all. I've taken pretty good care of it, and honestly, haven't ridden it much until this year. I am actually considering selling it, and moving up as well.
