Embarrassing rookie question.

Hey dudes. I feel i figured out which foot to put forward but i keep reading conflicting information.

I ride my snowboard and skateboard with my RIGHT foot forward... When someone push me forward my RIGHT foot is the one i bring forward first.

SO is my RIGTH FOOT supposed to be in the front or the rear of the tray?

Sorry for the lame question =)

I have been water skiing my whole life, left handed right foot forward (goofy footed), but riding my jet ski I feel more comfortable left foot forward.

The most correct answer is both, and I don't mean either or. You should be able to ride in any stance, and be able to switch stance while riding aggressively.

It both makes you a much better rider as well as helping avoid muscle imbalances.

Lots of people don't switch while surfing as they only have one rear strap, such things are personal preference.

I was in the same boat as you before I rode one! I ride my snowboard goofy I longboard goofy, everything is right side dominant but I naturally put my left foot forward by accident, and now I'm like how could I mess that up? But I am assuming it is the handlebars that I can hold onto that makes me comfortable that way if that makes any sense?

I switch my feet all the time. Left foot forward in left handed turns, right foot forward in right hand turns.
