Enclosed Mobile Garage

Plan on making a mobile garage for my ski and dirtbike. I wanna be able to work in there and maybe even sleep in there. Kind of winging it as I go. Eventually I want to run 12volt led lights around top and have 2 deep cell batterys and a charger bank to run lights. Heres my progress. All ideas are welcome. Im on a very tight budget.

painted the walls with some all weather paint and then the floors with some epoxy shield for garages, came out pretty damn good. building up some shelfs and what not. building as i go to see how it comes out.

thats a decent size trailer! how many skis are you putting in there? i started with a 6x14 v-nose with the intentions of making it a work station/garage but once i loaded it up with all my gear and 3 skis i cant even fit myself inside. i find it easier to just roll the ski out on a cart and work on it in an actual garage haha box trailer works awesome for storage though.

well the intention was 1 superjet and one dirtbike and a nice bed to camp lol, well i came across a 750sx for $800 was told everything was there but missing a bunch of stuff, electircal and exhaust manifold and mad other stuff. but definitly gunna have 2 skis in there and a bike now, possibly will have another bike down road but who knows

your gonna want some texture on your rear ramp. pulling a ski up that when its wet and sandy is next to impossible thats why i went with a barn door back. should be a sweet setup when your done. if i was going to do the camping thing i would just buy a cheap used toyhauler. i snatched up my last 25ft one for 8k and it was great for what it was, just need the big boy truck to pull it all.

yeah i say camping lightly, i mean sleep in the trailer while at motocross track, which is more comfortable than my back seat of my truck

You shojld pull down the walls and insulate it if you are going to foam. You should also add windows. Picture windows are nice but you you can get windows that fit between the wall ribs that can be installed without welding.

Barn doors are easy for loading skis but there are definite advantages to a ramp. You save the space of carrying ramps.

But the biggest advantage to the tail gate is that you can add jacks and turn it into a deck. Many full sized toy haulers work like this. You can make a wall out of vinyl to hold the ac into the trailer, and also add an awning. It is a great place to turn wr3nchs and not contaminate your sleeping area. You can also consider building barn doors inside that you can close up the back to leave the tail gate down, turning the tailgate deck into a permanent screened room while camping. Add tie down into the floor of the ramp you chain down your toys while you sleep with a motion light.

I have barn doors, so loading the ski is easy, but i wish i had a ramp because i could add 64 sqft to my 144 sqft trailer.

yeah im definitly on a budget so im not looking to put a/c in it. I'm running led lights across the roof and having them hooked up to a switch board. going to run them off deep cell batterys that ill use in my little boat. heres some progress of so far.

well when i bought it they said it was 8.5 by 20. by acutally measuring it, turns out 8x20. but perfect size. kind of wish i bought the 24 foot. it wouldve been cheaper too but that extra 4 feet would be big for where i live. lots of tight turns

some updates. that 550 in the middle im going to be chopping up and doings come crazy build with it. backflip flatwater is the plan. well see though. thursday im gunna start marking it up up

A buddy of mine had one set up similarly for dirt bikes. He built a frame in the front with hinges for a fold down bed, it only took up 8" of room folded up.
