Custom/Hybrid Enclosed Trailer Build (with js/sj)

My dad had a beat up old trailer laying around with mold, mice, and everything nasty living in it. Dimensions are 5'6" wide and 10'6" long. Js/sj and me decided we would put together a nice set-up to use this summer.

Starting Product

Step 1 (demolition/cleaning)

ripped out all the particle board that was waterlogged and moldy.
P.S that is a stain on the bottom deck.

Step 2 (Sealing and foaming)

Closed off every possible entrance for bugs, rodents, etc. Also put a sealer on all the wood inside to keep the water out.

We are planning on making it a mobile workshop and camper in one. It will be the perfect event attender. So the build begins.

soaked the entire trailer with bleach to kill all the mold and rid of the mildew

Electrical Day 1

Took out the clearance lights as well as tail lights... replaced the old tail lights with submergible LED's

Replace the old lights with a bracket for the magnetic kind, and when you back it into the water move them higher. Never replace lights again!

We are planning on welding a piece around the bottom side of the taillights so if we were to hit the ground those would hit and not break the lights

Also thinking of installing some lights on the back of the trailer so at night we can work on the skis behind the trailer

Dont think you would want to get your enclosed in the water. Beach dolly or ramp right ???

A flood light on the back would be nice. Solar powered lights are great also.

Possibly magnetic lights for at night that we could just remove and store in the trailer

That floor needs a couple coats of binz brand primer. Used it in a house we turned that had some 30 cats piss soaked into the floor. Couple coats and then new carpet you could never tell.

Amazing stuff.

Studs/Frame

Put the studs to the wall at first by backing the screws out that held on the siding.. then screwed them back in with the wood over it. Then we added support by putting carriage (Spelling?) bolts through. We also attached supports down the middle and put the cross-members on.
