Engine bogging after flip

Hi all, I'm running an 1100 dasa in my Footrocket its sporting an msd total loss system, pf pipe and a set of 48mm novi carbs. It's a great combination and plenty of power except that it seems after I come round from a flip the engine bogs down to a point where it's struggling to get moving. This makes consecutive flips impossible and sometimes even riding out of a flip is a struggle. Any ideas what I need to check/change?

Happen to have a video of how you are landing the flips. If it's tail heavy you could be sending a reverse pressure wave up thru the exhaust system pushing spent vapors back into the crankcase taking a few seconds to clear back out

I had a pf water box baffle come loose once and cause that problem. I could here it rattling around when I shook the box. It barely had any play in it at all but would all but shut the engine off when landing.

Might want to check your carbs internals workings . . Thus happened to my ridding buddy. He found that he had some small partials inside where the pop off are. Was causing the carbs to starve.

Too low of pop off ??? I have seen this on rolls but not flips but it's worth checking.

I had the exact same problem with my dasa 1200 in a footrocket. It's lack of air by only having air intakes in the pole tubes that caused it for me. I put the exact same setup in a hull with a hood liner and extra air intakes and the problem no longer existed.
