Someone dropped a 2003 GTI Seadoo on me that was run for 10-12 hours and then put in a shed when the mechanic screwed up the engine. Looks new other than the engine in pieces. I know nothing about Rotax and frankly don't want to put the effort in as much as these things seem to have issues. I was thinking about dropping a gp 1100 engine or a modified 701. Anyone seen any sites or postings where someone has done this conversion? I Am thinking of making it a winter project. Thoughts? Before anyone flames.. I know I shouldn't do it
