Super Jet Engine wont go past 1/3 throttle

Ok... stock 701, dual 38s, coffman sizzler, 150 compression, new plugs, spark in both cylinders...

So i took it out for the first time of the year and it ran as it usually does for the first 3-5 minutes. Then it started bogging down a bit and when I hit the gas again it would accelerate slowly to about 1/3 power and just stay there. there is no low end and the engine sounds like it is running rough at times. when it is out of the water it will hit the rev limiter but not when it is under load. It sounds like it is either not getting enough fuel or only one cylinder is running.

I need some ideas, the next things i am going to try are looking at the internal fuel filter and possibly looking at the reeds. Could it be something in the ebox?
It was the first tank of the season so there might have just been debris that settled at the bottom.
Thanks in advance!

check your fuel filter inside your carbs i bet they are plugged just clean them out , or ride with out your hood on, if the problem goes away you have an exhaust leak

I had same problem. Stock 61x. Traced it to a tobacco size spec in the carb's fuel filter. I have no idea how it got past the inline filter. Thanks for the lead

I had a very similar problem. I had a buddy help me clean up my carbs and he noticed one of the needles was worn down causing bad pop off. Replaced it and it runs great now.

Sounds like a bad coil to me but you didn't really continue testing to fully determine that. When a coil is going bad, it will run good for a few minutes and then the ski will run very poorly. If you were to let the ski rest for 15-30 minutes and go back out, the ski will run good for a few more minutes and then take a dump again.
