What did everyone think of the new site, and lake?
I thought it worked out awesome! Great find Paul!!!

I think it was awsome and they were very accomidating :woot: . Me and Harrison were talking yesterday about what a great venue for a race it would be also.

Absolutely loved it! I also love the idea of trying to get 1/2 of the beach area for camping next year.

Yeah the 'no wake zone' didnt last very long, the non-jetskier campers were very friendly..too bad it was split up into 2 camp sites...but other than that it was very well organized and planned out! Great fun! :Banane01:

Heres what I though:

• The no-wake zone was kinda irratating for those of use back down in the cove. Most of them just kinda ignored it though:sneaky:
• The riding section of the lake was nice..Especially that one huge cruiser that just went back and forth:Banane01:
• The beach and island are were awesome for taking pics and just hanging out.
• It would be nice to get everybody over to one campsite.
• Next year there needs to be a bonfire on the beach.
• Camping on that beach would be cool too.

It was AWESOME
and really, we didnt mind being at Mckinny campsite at all, I felt bad for Harassing Tiny for the ride back Sat night! ( thanks TINY!)

our site had the PERFECT view for watching the skis jumping the boat wakes, about 30 feet up the bank, and right on that point.

GREAT site, great event, and the people were incredible, wife and I have already decided to come again next year!

thanks to all the folks that made it happen, we made alot of new freinds!

personally...the site is an awesome venue, lots of space to hang, ride (two coves the same size as the bald ridge/lanier site plus some), facilities for non-campers, the beach is my new fav hang out, and the set up area for the raffle was disgustingly sick...all good stuff...except...


it is really hard to shoot there. until everyone started to come in for sickest trick and hood races i was going here and there and it seemed like by the time i got to where i wnated to be everyone was pulling in...:banghead::banghead::banghead:...

i know, im just being a wuss but it defintly means i need to figure out some different ideas for next year...

They pulled the no wake marker by late Friday/Early Sat.

I think it was a great site for the freeride. Beach was nice. I wish allatoona landing would have allowed some more campers in but no biggie. Great time and everyone was friendly. :biggthumpup:

I had a great time this weekend. I always enjoy seeing and visiting with everyone. The site was a great location in my opinion. It was laid out well and has lots of shoreline. Not to mention the beach area worked well well for the event with the stage and all.:biggthumpup:

Thanks to all that put this ride together. You’re appreciated more than you know!

Campsite was terrible, the food was awful, the raffle prizes sucked and everyone was rude and inconsiderate. I was bored to tears because noone would party and the only skis I saw were a bunch of junk.

Did I mention I am a terrible liar!!!

Just cause everything is smaller in texas doesnt mean u have to bring your hate to the toona :biggthumpup:
