I've personally tried most of the aftermarket waterboxes, including FPP. The OEM box makes more power and is quieter. The hot set up these days is installing a 701 Raider box under the seat in back. You can feel the difference and really cleans up the motor compartment. Can find these WB's pretty cheap as well.

hey mate. ive have tried a fair few water boxes for the blaster. i find a fp water box works really well. they fit nice and look factory. a tdr box if you can get one is a good thing. not as nice of a fit and a fair bit louder. almost droney if its on a fairly stock motor. but if its modded it then sounds awesome.
i run a tdr box but it isnt the blaster one. just need a particular shape as i run it under the rear deck and out the back. the only reason for this is im out of room in the original position cause of a different fuel tank and rockered nose.

I have a TDR box and it sounds and works amazing, its small, light weight and looks great under the hood!

Mine came with a RIVA waterbox. Fits nice and not too loud. My old GP800 with a TDR was so loud I was constantly getting pulled over by lake patrol. Sounded awesome.
