Fast Elements customer service

So I ordered a bunch of odds and ends parts for my superjet a month ago.. they still haven't shipped and its beginning to get on my nerves. I have called numerous times over the past few weeks only to have nobody answer. I have also emailed numerous times trying to find out the whereabouts of my goods with no response. I was lucky enough to get one call back last week in which my order not being shipped was getting blamed on blowsion for not sending my turf yet. He then proceeded to tell me that he could ship everything else besides the turf BUT I am located in Michigan and its cold so he doesn't feel that I need the parts I paid for yet. Upon a little bit more discussion he said "i will get in contact with blowsion to find out about your turf and give you a call back before the end of the day" it has now been over a week and they wont answer or return my calls.. I know fast elements is a respected company but this is beginning to get a bit ridiculous. Has anyone else had these problems before? and what should I do to get the parts I paid for without being a complete A-hole. I've been calm and patient for the most part... but much longer and I may snap.:mad:
 
Having an item on back-order is pretty common. If you want them to ship it separately next time you get a hold of someone just ask? Worst they can do is say no.

It seems quite a few people create threads a little early and it only hinders each parties reputation without gain.

Regardless of back orders, they should have been up front about the items on order. Communication is not that hard, a simple email or phone call goes a long way. Hopefully they get your parts to you soon!
 
I'm not out here trying to put fast elements on blast, im just more or less dissapointed and was curious to see if other people had this problem. and id love to "ask" them to ship it seperately.. but if you read the post you can tell that I can't even get ahold of anyone there. I am currently left in the dark with no updates or returned calls or emails.
 
Thats encouraging, I am just ticked off with the poor level of communication. all it takes is a simple phone call but I cant even get that.

Yea, that kind of stuff really tests my patience too...I hateeeeee waiting for parts. Fast Elements is like a 1 or 2 man operation (at least it used to be) and they do a pretty high volume of parts so they are spread pretty thin. (There is a lot more out there than this forum as far as sales go) While this is not a great excuse for poor communication, it is just something to put in perspective.
 
i bought a bunch of stuff from them. They had to split it into like 3 different deliveries. They forgot the grips, then sent me the wrong grips, but then fixed it all by telling me to keep them and select a different grip and sent that along with a t-shirt. But honestly, I was very patient and was very calm with them. Honestly, as long as I get my stuff I am fine. I am in the steel business and completely understand it usually takes longer than expected. Hull builders will love me I guess haha.

But bottom line is I ended up getting everything I ordered and an extra set of grips along with a t-shirt and some stickers. They will follow through, you just have to be patient with them. They will come through. And with that being said, I would place another order with them if I needed anything.

Turf is always on back order. That's not just fast elements. Its worth the extra shipping to order it separately because it holds everything up.

I guess I should say Hydro turf. I've never ordered black tip or anything else so I don't know how they do on such things.

also, pick one person if there is more than one that works at a shop. build a relationship with them........... I have never once had a problem ordering parts from anybody because of this.

Jeesh! (Not talking about fast elements here) What ever happened to just placing a order and it showing up!? No relationship or names even needed. Seller advertises...buyer orders....seller ships ASAP...deal done.
I need you to order me a part for a laptop. Laptop is 8 years old. you place part order..................................................................................................... 3 weeks later part has still not left "Deal Extreme" in china.......... Backorder.......................
 
Back order is besides the matter. If its a simple back order thats just fine and dandy and probably wouldn't bother any of us a single bit. But when the dealer doesnt explain to you its on backorder and just leaves you in the dark for weeks on end thats when it becomes a different matter .

Did I advertise said part? The beauty of taking phone orders only (in my case) is you would have been told immediately that I do not fix 8 year old laptops and if you insisted it would be a long wait! LOL.
