Yeah Wilkey I wish it said XFR also. Not totally sure why it doesnt say XFR. Maybe someone can chime in. I think it was something about graphics already made.
Not sure if I will get all the details. I seem to get on a roll and forget about taking pictures. Brian I will try.
So I pulled my pump out of its box from Skat and taped it up for blasting and paint. Stator section comes from Skat blasted but not painted. Re-blasted before paint to get a nice clean rough surface for paint. Also blasted wear ring and reduction nozzle. Then primed with DuPont Epoxy primer and top coated with Dupont Imron Polurethane paint. The stuff is nice and when your done it looks like Powder Coat.

Pump Shoe: I went with a Aluminum shoe that I took off another ski. I had 45 minutes of grinding/sanding to get it to fit the way I wanted. Then dropped off to the powder coater. After powder coat it fit just as good as before powder coat. I used OEM pump shoe screws, so I had to open up pilot holes that the hull comes with from Rickter. They lined up very will with shoe. Only had to modify intake grate a very little bit to bolt in.

OK next was to install pump. It took me awhile to get pump aligned just right. No dowel pins are used on wear ring to hull, so now you have to worry about the right to left and up and down adjustment of pump. With the dowel pins on a OEM SJ the right and left is controlled. Also had to be sure pump was all the way forward to make sure seal was touching/compressed.

Next I ran into a snag. When turned all the way to the left and the trim all the way up the steering cable would hit one of the cooling fittings. So after looking at a buddy's ski and not knowing anything about his ski I saw that the stator section of the pump was rotated 180 degrees. Which moved the water fitting on the pump from 8 and 4 o'clock postions to 10 and 2 o'clock postions. Problem solve and thats what I did. Only negative is you have to remove the dowel pins from in between wear ring and stator. It also change my pump shimming. Sorry no picture of after rotation of stator section.

OK time to get this thread more up to date. May end up being more pics than info. HAHA

Working on motor mounts. Loctite all bolts. Harrison I got you covered.
Nice thing about Rickter is the Trim tube points to the bottom of hull so when it come out of firewall the cable doesn't run into the motor. Nice touch!! Love those little things.
