Feeler- 2009 KTM 250SXF 9.4 hours

Well I bought this bike brand new in feb. as a dealer left over. I thought with getting out of the Marine Corps and moving back home I would pick up in MX right where I left off. Skill wise i did still a decent B rider. But as far as the amount I have rode I have not. Only rode 2 times and raced once this season. Unfortunately, my old racing buddies are all married and have kids, so it is just not the same as it use to be.

Anyways just thinking about selling it. Like i said it has 9 hours on it and is pretty much brand new.

Works connection anodized orange oil fill plug
KTM anodized orange clutch slave guard
Renthal anodized orange 50t rear sproket
2 air filters
2 hot start levers
brand new stock rear sprocket

I bought it in feb. for $5000 OTD

Ill probably wait until spring to sell for top dollar if i decide to. but what would y'all think I can get?

The initial price of layover bikes is great. I picked my 09 YZ250f up spring of 2010 for $4250 out the door, but it's still a used '09 now. Also, with the new KTM chassis and linkage ,etc. I think the high resale value KTM's have brought in the past are going to diminish a bit. My $.02

I would probably just hold on to it for that. I sold my 06250sxf in April for $2500 and it was pretty beat. I wouldn't mind trading it on a 2stroke 250sx

It's a tough market flooded with nice used bikes. I'm in the same position, like to swap out for a 2 stroke but I have some $$ tied up in my bike. 290cc kit, Factory Connection Suspension, Full FMF mega bomb system etc.

You can always ask more, I know there are some die-hard KTM folks out there!

Ya. I agree. I would love to get at least 4 if I am gonna sell. I am one of those Die hard KTM fans, lol. If I am paying for the bike I am buying orange

I buy which ever brand has the best rebates on left over bikes in the spring lol. Seems like I've been in a Kawi / Yami / Kawi / Yami pattern. I need to ride a nicely setup KTM sometime... I've only been on woods bikes with chopped bars and ubber soft suspension and well... I haven't been impressed yet.
