Other Fiberglass repair - SJ bottom deck

Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on how much glass to lay down to adequately repair this damage. I'm not in the surf doing massive flops or anything but I would like a reasonably strong repair I won't have to worry about.

I've got 1708, some 10oz E-glass, and some lightweight twill on hand. I was thinking a layer of E glass on the outside, and a layer of 1708 plus another E glass layer on the inside. Since the decks are separated I can lay over the rail too which should help.

What do yall think? I'm afraid it may not be enough, but when I consider that I only have a set amount of surface area to work with it makes me wonder at what point extra layers are of little benefit.

Edit: I should add that when the decks are rebonded I plan on reinforcing the underside of the bond rail heavily all the way around.

it looks like its just stress cracks in the gel coat?? if that's the case, grind of the gel and use some type of surfacer over it... if it is deeper or that isn't gelcoated grind out the bad and fill it back in with mat then surfacer over that... going over the top of cracked glass isn't the best choice of repair, i realize there isn't much there to start removing to repair, but its the best way since glass is layered when it bends the layers will separate and create air pockets... air isn't very structurally sound, either grind it out and fill it or inject resin into anything that isn't solid and go over the top...

It looks like a ski T boned this hull, the cracks go all the way through in several places. I trenched and filled the larger ones, and laid 1708 over that. Just not sure how many layers is enough to make up for the weakened area.

I repaired some cracks and did ~45 oz around the cracks then applied more support strips over the cracks. These were very small cracks but all the way through the hull. I guess you can't really have too much? By this small reinforcement your going to be adding virtually no weight to your hull.
