Super Jet first motor mods, 1995 701 for recreational use.

This is a family toy, motor is original as far as I know, compression is around 140lbs rebuilt the carb and it has a blowsion flame arrestor, along with wc intake and rideplate with a new solas concord, forgot pitch it is the lower pitch option for needed acceleration.

it is in need of more low end power, where do i start, want to stay between $400 and $600 Im thinking fresh top end and up the compression with a used pipe.

Did the '98 have a B-pipe on it? Other aftermarket exhaust? Look in the classifieds here and see about an aftermarket pipe. Bolt on, rejet as needed, go faster.

pull your head off to get it milled by your machinest, mine only charged me $30.
look for a good used impeller, they go for under $75 shipped on ebay all the time.
And keep your eye open for an old protec or riva pipe, you can usualy find them pretty cheap here in the classifieds

definitely compression up, nozzle boring works very well too, you can lighten the flywheel too - cheap mods that do work well!

oh, and if you do not want to spend on a pipe for now, reroute the cooling so more water flows overboard through the pisser!
