Hey, I found this post w a pic of Kevin Shaw from Watercraft journal with the new 2021 skis. A Superjet is up front. Those other skis look like dual handle bar or some big mirrors way up front

This is huge. This confirms new Superjet is really coming out. So stoked.
As I posted previously, spec is 53 mph stock. Design is meh. No more carburetor BS! Slap a turbo on that TR1 motor!!

Ive been studying the photo and the SJ seems as if something has been stuffed under the cover in the front where the plastic nose cowling is to give the impression of a different shape. Kinda like a noodle has been wrapped around the front doing a u-turn ending in the back.

I should have said that doesn’t look like the same old superjet... the bow is clearly a different shape than the 08-2020 hulls. I’m excited to see what’s in store.

I was trying to compare to Kommanders S1 and GP1 hulls
Also notice what might be a gas cap access point in the front center of the cover

I saw the trailer at the ramp but I couldn't find the skis, not sure where they took them too, I wish I would have had my ski with me

Looks like a kommander hull to me. look at the body lines of the nose compared to this one

definitely did not mean it was that specific hull but i was pointing out the similarity in the body lines and fuel fill etc. Should have been more clear lol

I think the big giveaway is that is a factory yamaha superjet cover but it is not the cover for the 2020 and older superjets. Has to be something new under it.

I think the pic is a setup and its just a GP1 under a superjet cover to create hype. Wouldnt be surprised/disappointed if its just hype and we get the same ski and graphics as the last 3 years.
