First time setting up MSD Total Loss

This my first time setting up MSD total loss and I'm not exactly sure how to do it. I have a good idea and I'm hoping to be on the water this weekend. I have everything wired up and mounted now I'm ready to set the timing. When I set the static timing advance do I just turn the led light on and go by it? Do I have to turn the start retard switch off?

1st ? yes
you turn on the #4 switch for led timing on to time with the led-dont forget to to it back to off when done for run mode
2nd ? no
no need to mess with any other switches to set static timing-brain not in function mode when led is switched on

@Byeai I have a degree wheel and a dial tdc gauge. I finished everything about 3am. A few hose clamps and I'm ready to hit the water

Any pics of the ski? I don't remember any orange xscream hulls so had thought about that for myself but looks like that has been done now. Beautiful!

Pictures don't do the paint justice. It's hok tangelo pearl. I added some red sunset pearl in the base coat and mid a midcoat with gold pearl
