FITTING A DRY PIPE. NEED SOME DIRECTION

I bought this dry pipe off eBay. Its in perfect condition. I installed the hood modification from Blousion. Does any one have detailed photos of the installation process for the pipe? I'm confused on all the hoses. Also its a complete bitch to get the pipe in is there a trick to the install? Some posts on PWC world say you must remove the motor first to install the pipe? Wtf are they talking about?

Remove the 4 motor mount bolts slide the engine forward about 3 inches connect chamber slide back into position re install motor mount bolts done water routing is dependent on how your pump/engine are set up

some also grind away a small portion of rear hull rail lip where the hood gasket sits so pipe can be removed without moving engine.
be sure to shim/align lord mounts so no stress is on the pipe and orings.
lastly get a 650sx pipe coupler with 2 hose clamps and put it over the manifold and pipe as the orings will leak.

no problem with leakage around the gasket from the edge you gut? I definitely need more space to get this pipe in properly. Your cut on the corner makes sense i just don't want to compromise the gasket.

people been cutting the corner for years. Its fine. Friend use to use a ratchet strap to pull the pipe into the coupler. But many times he would just pop the motor lose. That pipe is a pain!!!!!!!!
