Fixed Steer Advice/Input

Pulled the trigger on a Tom21 fixed fixed steer hood for my 07 RN. Should be here in the next week or 2. In the meantime looking for some input on what kind of steering systems you guys recommend as well as what kinds of bars everyone is running. Want to get parts ordering so I can get it together soon as it arrives. Thanks!

I like tall, wide 1 1/8 fat bars with a little sweep.

UMI steering has been the best for me.

Umi steering, milled down the clamp and used pro taper fat bar clamps. I then used pro taper Ricky charmichael bars. @BruceSki 's bars are too tall and it rides like sh it. Hahaha

Umi steering and I had some umi bars I really liked but I did end up bending them. I think I went with some protaper bars after that.

Like @eastcoastjumper said umi by far rides the nicest on round nose with tom21 hood. We both have that set up with pro taper bars. He modified his for fat bars and I have 7/8s protapers both bends are charmichael bends. I had 701 ind steering with few diff sets of bars and went umi and never looked back. Plus UMI wont break like 701 stuff does.

Umi here aswell on a RN with tom21 hood, used a custom adapter to run fat bars, ran the protaper contour mini highs, I like my bar width about 30 inches

It's not measured in degrees for mx bars it's in mm or something.
