Flame Arrester probs

Using aftermarket flame arresters on 2 wave blaster, & continue to take on to much water when in the surf. Should i go back to OEM ? i'm assuming this is a common problem when using the pre-filters & after market arresters. any ideas?

Stock is the best way to go. IMO

pre-filters blow after away - they start to retain water, making clearing out the motor take even longer (or so it seems).

Running without, I still get water but they clear out quit a bit faster.

I never had this problem with a stock setup, which I plan on returning to.
