Flywheel rub, and stator check

Pulling my motor apart I found that at some point, this flywheel was rubbing! Any info on flywheels and when/if they need to be replaced would be appreciated! Also, is there any reliable way to check a stator when it's not under load? This all came out of a running ski, but I'd like to check it out anyways.

That is 62t stator and a TBM 62t LW flywheel so they are a match to use with each other.

Most likely there was a bendix that grenaded in the past and flywheel got the rash from it. Otherwise how does the stator mounting area look on your cases? If a stator was loose in the past, then it can wear the mounting area. When stator is mounted it is normally self aligned by the tabs on the cases. If they are worn then stator can be mounted out of alignment and rub flywheel.

62t stator
Brown/white to black -about 500 ohms
White/red to black -about 15 ohms
Green to green -about 1.8 ohms
