Have you checked the price shipped ?
This is why i was hoping to find a pair of fins already in the states... I'm guessing the shipping for the hood seal is calculating incorrectly because checkout only estimated $94 AUD to ship the fins to California... can't imagine the hood seal is that much heavier/bulkier than the fins.

@MTRHEAD might be worth it to contact them and see what the actual shipping cost for that hood seal is.

I wanted to order the transom plate. The shipping was almost twice the cost of the plate. I contacted them and they added three much cheaper shipping rates. Also keep in mind the U.S. dollar is stronger than the Aus dollar. The flex fins are $493 in the attached example but in U.S. dollars it's more like $355 shipped.

Yeah I started thinking after doing the conversion that $350 shipped for new jetski body parts isn't really that shocking considering the cost of something like tubbies (and everything else in this sport!) -- I don't need them "now" as my ski isn't even finished, so I'll leave this up with my fingers crossed until the weather warms up and if nothing becomes available i'll probably just order a set.
