Super Jet Found a sn sj for $200 need help

Well had a guy text me this morning saying he has either a 90,91 or 92 superjet for sale. It has the 650 motor in it and all it needs is a new coil. Everything is stock except for the paint job. He wants $200 for the ski. This seems like a really good deal but before i buy it what do i need to look out for with the ski? Also later down the road would i be able to put a 701 in this ski?

I wouldn't let a blown engine or a bum ebox keep me from getting it. Excuses to upgrade to better parts! 701 swaps aren't easy but they aren't hard either if you have some mechanical knowledge.

Better check the serial number and the paperwork to make sure it ISN'T a steal. . .

dont replace the coil yet if you put a 701 in it you will need the electrical too so it would be a waist..... the swap is easy i have done it in 45 min
