Cheaper to buy new off Amazon than what people are asking for used
You want a new matched set with zero use? ...price them out with Blowsion, Parker Yamaha, Atlantic Jetsports, Riva, all $300 + shipping each. Are you willing to take a chance on maybe getting identical matched from Amazon? and maybe properly packaged? Have you bought from Amazon and seen their version of packaging? lol...are you also willing to let their drivers drop them at your door open to theft without your knowing they were even there? Thanks for the thread bashing even though it's indirect, I appreciate the support :)

Oh yes I most certainly would buy from Amazon. I have prime.. like majority of people..
213 vs 300+ shipping. All of them are still doing the same thing pulling them off the shelf and boxing them up and shipping them out. You think blowsion brings them to my door step them selfs and let me know where they are at all times no way.. no was am I thread bashing.. op poster was looking for good clean carbs. Amazon good new clean carbs for gues what 426 or spend 520 for used carbs. humm you continue to buy used carbs for more expensive than new lol.. I will buy new ... BTW mind your own business. I was helping out orginal poster.. your the one derailing the post..Was just letting poster know

And I have bought countless off Amazon.

I am going to start off with a formal apology here because it is not my intention to start friction. I do hope you can see how it looks for me when my thread was offered as an option to the OP and the follow response was cutting down what I need to ask. I chose to pay the $300 each plus shipping because I believe in supporting our small businesses like JetManiac, Watcon etc. and quite honestly I would never have thought about Amazon as an option because I want to support our guys. So I actually had no idea those carbs even existed on Amazon. Without our small business guys our extremely small sport will cease to exist. It's bad enough that we lost Coffmans, PJS, Westcoat, R&D etc, we can't afford to lose any more like JetManiac and the others mentioned. These guys can't sell parts to compete with massive conglomerates like Amazon whom can buy huge bulk volumes from massive manufacturers like Mikuni at rates only seen on the OEM level.

But I do understand where you are coming from, many of us do need to save where we can when we can. What I was saying about the matching numbers and shipping was not with the intent that those guys personally hand deliver but rather they use typically very responsible entities like US Post, or FedEx etc. where there is some reliability in delivery and handling quality...usually, not always but more often than not. Where the pwc businesses do have a personal hand though is in physically picking out the carbs and verifying the numbers are a match. Amazon only goes by stock levels, if you order 2 or 3, and one warehouse has only one, the other(s) will be coming from elsewhere and the probability of them having different numbers are pretty well a guarantee. I will say that when the performance builders like DASA, TPE etc. are equipping their builds with matching numbered carbs, it's for a very real and necessary reason. As for Amazon Prime, I don't know of more than one person that has that and am guessing that there are a lot more without it than with, I may be wrong, I don't have any numbers to support that but neither does the claim that most people do have it.

Please know that I was not thread bashing the OPs posting, I was responding to what I saw as an insulting/bashing response of my quoted for sale thread. A private message to the OP about the deals you have found would have avoided that, even just saying you have found them at Amazon for x amount and leaving out the snide remark would have been fine, we wouldn't be here like this today. But I am trying to take the better road here and I do apologize for my charged response, I have to admit I have been a little on edge as of late from severe circumstances that you are not aware of, I recently lost a friend...he took his own life, it was completely unexpected and left his family and friends devastated, the company I work for just shut their doors for the last time this past week, where I live is going back into a hard lock down due to covid numbers sky rocketing again. It has been a hard last few months, unfortunately I gave way to pressure and responded how I did and I do apologize.
