Raptor hull review

Ok so I went to the king of free ride on Australia's sunshine coast a couple of weeks ago with the intention of testing out a FPskis Raptor.
Pete (owner of FPskis) said no worry's you can use mine come on over.
The first thing you notice is the carbon finish its immaculate.
His ski is the original one over a year old now and still looks the part with no Stress cracks visible in the hull. There were a couple of minor gel coat cracks in the super light hood but you had to really look for them.
The hoods held on by thumb bolts which is a new idea. This does take a bit longer than latches but you do feel like its on to stay on and its pretty easy really. No way this hoods coming off in the surf.
Ride wise its something between a FP1 and a Rickter evo with death fins and tubbies. Easier to ride and more stable than a superjet but not quite as loose in the rear as an evo. The tray is massive which I liked. I didn't notice splash off the front as much as my own FP1. Pete runs the pole super tight which is not my preference however it was probably the fastest I have adapted to a new ski and flipped and rolled it comfortably in my 1st session. It was powered by a 850 dasa which probably helped here but just a nice mellow surf setup on a mod b pipe and enhancer. Engine bay is also massive no rubbing pipes here.
Hookup seems good the intake is bigger than a superjet visually. Weight wise it felt lighter than a surf superjet much the same as a Surf layup Rickter if anything I would like more weight not less in skis intending to be used in big surf.
Feel free to ask questions.
No I haven't brought one yet only because I already have a great surf ski and don't need to rush. Keen to go bad to ozzy for another test thought as my only real disappointment was not riding it more!.
