I need a front exhasut outlet for my ski, not going back to the rear type again on this build.

I have used xmetal and seen xft's but i want to make my own.

Anyone have any hints?

I saw a thread or two with people using fishing pole holders or sanitary tube...just curious on more details, and exactly what to buy.

Why do some people put the outlet on the left side and some on the right side? Does it depend on which way you roll or something?

Ive used the X-2 or 650SX side exhaust piece on some Superjet builds I've done and they've worked great. You can pick them up for dirt cheap.
Let me know if ya need one, Im getting ready to part out a 650SX and a X-2!

My home away from home.
Mine was homebuilt from the previous owner, comes out on the left side, stock waterbox outlet was relocated to left top ish side, and it's a bit rough looking. Picking up a new design xmetal waterbox and redoing the front ex all together, in hopes to clean up the look. And hopefully pick up some more bottom end. I'd like it to be flush with the side of the hull when finished. So it will probably be done out of glass bi ax or something. Cross that bridge when I get there.

I have used an X2 outlet in the past. I made my exhaust T out of SCH 40 PVC and a reducer for the nose split, I had a stock 650 w/sizzler pipe and nothing was dried out any, so no problems. I used the universal radiator hose but the spring inside did collapse after time in salt water. I bought a used Bowsion one so I don't have to mess with it any more, BUT... if I had it all to do again I would just go to the parts store and find 2 radiator hoses with the 135 degree bends or whatever that I need and run a brass under sink drain pipe in the middle where the hoses meet so I can get my adjustments and not have to worry about collapsing a tube after time. Or in other words just mirror the blowsion system and run my plastic T w/an X2 outlet.
