Other Fuel Line protection

What is the material that people use to protect the fuel line? Ive seen pics of a black looking material that is spun around the line but still allows you to see parts of the fuel line. Kind of like a candy cane.

I route the fuel line where it doesn't chafe on anything and zip tie them out of the way. Use good quality line and there's no reason to protect anything.

The material you're thinking of is wire loom.

Actually I meant the black material on the fuel lines of this ski.

That ski has two red fuel lines and a black rubber pulse line.
What are you talking about?

I believe he is referring to spiral bundling.

EDIT: AKA wrap around sleeving, spiral sleeving, or spiral wrap. I've heard it called 100 different names.

Yeah I was talking about the wrap around material over the red fuel line. I was looking to use something like that so my fuel line does not touch the exhaust heading toward that back & It still allows the red to be partially visable.. Unless the black rubber exhaust tube doesnt get hot enough anyways? I just bought the Blowsion red fuel line and dont want to cover it up with the stock wire loom.

It does not get nearly hot enough to cause damage.

Fuel line don't kink- provided you sort of cut the right length and not three feet too long..

Agree with matt and mark, use oem line and route it away from your exhaust, etc.
