Trying to pull off the fuel lines on my carb but they are on there good. What's the best way to remove them? Just cut with scissors and use fresh ends when reinstalling?

Sometimes you have to cut them back a little but most often you can twist them first with some needle nose pliers to break the seal, then pull them off.

Yeah I tried with needle nose pliers but the rubber just started ripping off. They're original lines so I think they're on for good. Any recommendations on upgrading the fuel lines? Those things have got to be clogged up by now.

Are they hard and brittle or nice and flexable? If they are in good shape, just blow them out with compressed air. OEM Yamaha fuel lines at the best you can get and it lasts forever.

I guess they're a little hard but not so much on the brittle side. I mean if I try twisting them with needle nose pliers the rubber starts to come off pretty easily..
