When I took my she to Art @ Jet Works he put different clamps on there. The newer clamps are a smaller width. He said that the overhang on the head pipe with the enlarged area (missing the word for the inverted groove) area is so small that a standard size clamp doesn't really do much because it is too wide. I never noticed it but if he said they work better, I believe him and haven't had a problem since. Before he made this change, I'd periodically have to slide them together, recheck and retighten the hose clamps
