fx1 will be harder to learn on but will make you a better rider in the end. also they are very few of them out there and that makes them rare(and sometimes valuable) superjets are all over and will be a lot easier to learn on. Imo get the fx1 and ride the hell outta it. if you don't like it you can easily resell it. people are always trying to score fx1's. good luck with whatever you decide. bolth are great machines

I think a FX1 would be more fun. As mentioned, it's more work, but it's more fun IMO.

The only tough part about FX1's is the Bpipes are impossible to find and the pump is 122mm, so it doesn't have the bite a SJ has with a 144 pump. But it's lighter and shorter. If you do a pump conversion you'd be set.

But, I started out on a fx1, and Going to a SJ felt like getting on a barge. But since I've gone to a SJ and now a AM hull, I hate riding FX1's lol... So yeah.

If you want a challenge go FX1, if you want to get out there and have a fun time on something easy to ride get the superjet. Its like a MX (fx1)vs Quad (superjet) as an analogy you might understand.

I've had the FX-1 nearly a year and I just got the SJ/SN this spring. I have spent a lot of time on the FX and a fair amount of time on the SJ... Both are great skis with different personalities. I am sure I will grow to like the SJ more and more, but I can also tell the FX will always be my preferred ski.
