FX-1 FX-1 steering cable vs. RN steering cable

Looking for a steering cable for my FX-1. Just wondering if I can use a RN steering cable.

As long as it's the stock steering cable from a 2008 and up Superjet, you bet.

What if you were to swap in a 96-07 RN pole?

Is the pump section length any different?

I know the handle pole top is shorter on the 08+ and FX1. Is that the only difference?

Pump is different, too.
I ran an FX1 pole on a SN a while back.
I made the pump end work by putting an extension on the threaded part.
So if you want to run a 90-07 cable in an FX1, you'd have to somehow shorten & rethread the cable.
