Getting rid of XM?

O&A stands for "Opie and Anthony".
I don't have XM, so I have no idea what is going on, but those guys used to kick ass a few years ago on 102.3!

They were put on 30days suspension for some comments that were said on air by a regular on the show. It was the day after Imus said his famous words. They ended up playing them back last week or something and ended up getting in trouble for it. Not from the FCC but rather XM which does not have to adhere to FCC policies.

I got sirius for xmas with a gizmo and a 3 month subscription

It sucked so bad I cancelled after 6 weeks (yes, I cancelled a free subscritpion) and slung the stupid little box in the trash.

Sat radio sucks as bad as public radio, IMHO

I like listening to music, at least around here all they want to do is talk and through in a little music for good measure. oh and I don;t know if they are doing it every where but every time I here and ultra 90 commercial I want to blow my head off.

Since I travel so much for work, I usually end up with a rental car that has XM or Sirius. I find that I end up with the Comedy channels, Top 40, 60's, 70's, 80's on most of the time. Honestly, it's nice but I don't think I'd pay for it. I seem to get just about everything I need off the local radio stations.

Anyone else?

I drive to Florida a lot (and now Alabama too) ans love XM (my friend has Sirius and it is also good). The cost isn't too bad and you get commercial-free music.

I flip between Ethel (alternative), Sqizz (heavy alternative), and the comedy channels. I tried to get into O&A, but just couldn't. I think Howard has a better style (IMO), but I haven't heard him since he went to Sirius either.

i listened to sirius 20 - Octane the entire trip to daytona this year.

I drive alot for work. I never listen to regular radio now. I love Howard, comedy and the variety of music w/o comercials. Sirius has a new channel on 24, 90's alternative!:headbang: :headbang: and of course Octane 20.

I've been a huge O&A fan for years, since the WNEW days outa NY, and bought XM just for them. I still hope the traveling virus comes to my area. I've seen Lil' Jimmy a bunch of times and he cracks me up everytime. I actually grew up and was friends with is sister in HS. He was wacked then too from what I remember. If they are censored I dunno how I am gonna feel about it. Most of their show is fine but once in a while they go over the top. They definitely keep me sane on longer road trips...
