girldled head or not?

what does everytone think about running girdled heads on stroked lamey engines with powervalves? Do they get in the way? do they add any protection? I dont really want to run one but i will if the benefits outweigh the hassles. Start discussing....

As I understand it, a girdled head is not necessary with a Lamey set-up due to the fact that the Lamey cylinders are much beefier than OEM.

The bosses on the bottom of the Lamey cylinders are a lot thicker than oem and don't tend to fail where the oem's can crack running high compression.

Yea I have both cylinders..I guess i will just be running the non girdled. now i need to find the dome size!
