the 2 part epoxy it comes in a syringe and it is clear got it at ace hardware for under 6$ you push syringe down and squirt and mix both parts in tray and brush it on the pole. after that i made sure 200% that the pole is strait i think i used the sticker and then the measure tape. then drill the holes and measure then use a ss rivets and handheld gun. rivits and the ish and mine is still nice and stock looking

I do it the same way. You can get epoxy glue that already has the thickener in it. I also use stainless steel 3/16" washers over the rivets on the inside of the pole so the rivets have something harder than fibreglass to pull up on.

washer

could be tough the stock pole has 2 plates that back up the fiberglass the only parts where this isnt is on the sides but it is fine it not really holding that much weight just keeping it snug. the glue is also keeping it in, the only place washers is on load pulling spots like hodstraps and limit pole rope

I used washers on the inside of mine with some 1/4" button head bolts, and epoxy to hold it in there. Done three of them like that. No problems yet.
