The rip current was really bad. So yes at times there was skis with no riders.. That ski was saved but I heard of Hydro Space ski that sunk and they never found it.

They where hoping it would have washed ashore by morning but it never did. Im hearing this second hand but that was the talk on the beach. The one floating in the pictue took a big wave and landed upside down in shallow water breaking the pole backwards and the hood.

When I saw the owner of JeT-Tribe floating around with a ski upside down we just made sure he was good and then made sure to keep tabs on the sinking ski, I later found out it was Eric Lagapoulos' mod 800 that was almost lost. Its great to take the '07 superjet with very simply re-inforced hull, footholds, scupper, factory pipe and higher compression with an enhancer, and hang with some great riders, my flat-water KDX 1000 was ready to go but I was having to much fun on the '07 beater superjet.

He was going off! i had a great time riding with him watching all this up close. Respect for hucking on the superjet that day. I just started flipping more and those waves were kinda sketchy but not sketchy enough to stop him ha! Great riding and video

went out yesturday to get some more surf video and Havell broke a reed.. maybe more surf in the near future
