I'll be available to ride as long as my ski doesn't need any tuning. I just dropped my back-up motor in earlier this week and haven't had it in the water yet.
sjetrider will be in Seaside (in between Destin and Panama City) as well and we are planning on riding on Sunday. Don't know exactly where just yet---I'll PM you and give you my cell phone number.

where do you guys ride at down there? My parents have some property down there, so I come down when I can. I've had my couches down there before, we ride out under the bridge out into the gulf, but I just got my sj this year.

Where are you guys staying? We will be at a friends condo in Sand Destin, but also have a group thats going to camp out somewhere. If you PM me and I will give you my # so we can make plans to meet up and figure out where to launch and ride. Hope more people can make it down for that w/e. We are looking forward to hitting the beach. Don't know any details on Crystal Beach if you have any please send.

I"ll be in destin teh 25th - 1st. I just got my sj this year, so I've never ridden in the ocean. I have had my couches in there, but we put in down off beach rd I think?? Then go through the bay, and out through the channel to the ocean. That be a far ride on a SJ. They still have that law down there where you cant beach jet skis??

Who ever heard of not being able to have a jet ski on the freaking beach. That city need's to take relax. There has to be a way to be able to ride in the ocean w/o all the b/s.

Hey Gino, probably going to stay in Fort Walton at the Days Inn. They have the best rates I've found at $63 a night. I don't mind the drive to Destin if it saves me $40-$500 per night.
The Crystal Beach ride is September 28-30. It will be at the usual there near the penguins house.

all I know is in Destin we used to be able to ride the skis right up on to the beach. Then they changed the law.. and you have to have them anchered 100yards off shore.. So stupid. The only place you can bring them in is where there is rentals, where they have bouys set up. Then of course the rental ass hats wont let you unless you pay them. I dont know if thats the law for the entire coast line, or just certain areas. Where isn't you all ride at down there?
