Good deal on life vest

I have the same one but in red and paid close to 60$ for it in March on sale and with a coupon.

Great second link, great prices. Most of them are wakeboard vests....not Coast Guard Approved...right? I don't think they float as much. Maybe someone can chime in. I've ordered through Parker and they were great. http://www.parkeryamaha.com/jetpilotlifevests.aspx

I think USCG approved just means that they have straps on them. At least that is the only difference I have seen.

And non uscg approved vests hardly provide any floatation capabilities. I have one and all I think its supposed to do is make it look like im wearing one. Its the gray one I always wore.

Try and find one that is uscg approved because the cops will check.

Now that I think about it, you right.... you suppose to have USCG approved vest on all vessels for each person on board. (Nevada)

Coast guard approved life jackets are also supposed to turn you over on your back in case of you getting knocked out. At least thats what I have read in other threads.
