Other goodbye trash hulls!

A few weeks ago i took this rentals dudes 2 old xl700 hulls, one had a 62t 701 w/ dual carbs and electronics FOR FREE!!!

Thought i had to cut them up, so bulk trash would take it. Spent a weekend of waiting for my crappy ni-cad sawzaw to charge up in between demolition sesh's. Cutting up the one hull was a total BIOTCH, mainly to my crappy tool, but w/e...

weeks pass...i wait for bulk trash. i pile the nasty pile of couch out in my front yard, wait for the next day to see it get picked up. Trash guy comes get its all real quick so i said to myself he may take the whole other hull not chopped? i asked if he would pick it up, i said "hey would you take one not cut up, its 9 something FT long, it weighs nothing!" he replied "its empty no engine, fuel or oil?" i told him no its empty. he motioned to bring it out. draggged that POS out to the curb and he picked it up no problem.

big problem solved! i thought free ski parts were gonna turn into more sawzaw blades or a $$$ trip to the dump.

gotta love the city and freebies! but hate cutting those hulls up!

The Good Old Days
It gets easier the more couches you cut up.

I'll be executing a GTX this weekend but I have plans for this one. Think vehicle, towrope, large parking lot and a willing rider/idiot.
Fun.

I have a bunch of Seadoo hulls I have to get rid of, the local dump will take them if they are empty and all fluids are removed but its 30 miles one way and they charge $25.00 a ton, hopefully I can haul whats left of the engines and jet pumps that aren't usable to the recycle place to offset the cost of getting rid of the hulls.

I cut up a seadoo once and only once. Now i carry them whole and slide the right off into the dumpster. We have one drop point that has the ramps that puts the vehicle higher than the dumpsters so they slide right off nicely.

I have a 2000 GP1200R awaiting it's execution date real soon.

The GPR hulls are very popular for conversion skis, put it up on Green hulk and someone will probably come and get it.

I just haul trash hulls to the dump, its like 5 miles away. As mentioned they need to be clean of all fluids. Here its around $8 for a completely empty 2-3 seater.
Mine are usually stripped down to the bare hull. I have a friend that is the hoarding Mcguyver type and comes over and takes off everything I dont want. I mean everything! :D Its kind of weird actually...
