Im now starting another buildup thread for that other ski that im putting together.

I bought trashed SXR 800 hull with hood and i will put at first yamaha 62T inside and maybe race some races at later summer. And next winter im hoping to upgrade that use either stroker powervalve superjet engine or GP800 engine.

I just got brand new stock pump and drivershaft and waiting bearing from thrust innovations and i dropped that drive axle to the machine shop where they can mount superjet coupler in it.

Also im making some carbon fiber waterbox to make it fit front end of ski like superjet uses.

I show some pictures in mine superjet buildup thread but i will post them again.

Also that 62t engine is so easy to drop in, there look like it is none shimming to the align the engine. And i need only drill new holes to mount that engine.

Now it need only one layer of topcoat and some wetsanding to make it look new again.

Also im needing some parts:

Im looking race ported 61x or 62T cylinder in size bigger than 84 mm pistons, also some race ported other cylinder can be good. Like ADA or ABLE.

Also im looking some drypipe and water injection and TBM super pump cone for kawasaki pump and starter and bendix for 62T.

that stock hull is so heavy... im trying to grind of all the extra glue off to save some weight. But i think in racing ski it isnt not that bad when you have heavy hull.

that aint first sxr that i have seen cracked in that place... It is the weakest spot in hull. That hull hit rock when doing some stupid show off. Friend of mine cracked hull in same spot at racing at finals.

Got some parts last week, also i started to put that motor in the hull and got the coupler ready. And it seems i need just drill new holes for yamaha stock motormounts, height is almost perfect. I justforget to take picture about that.

Thanks for Thrust innovation and Trinity composites about some cool parts!

62T because it is the cheapest engine with lots of good aftermarket parts. Also i have superjet also and i think it is easiest to get just one type of engine.

That is just a empty hull that i bought and it is super easy to drop that 62T motor in it. No need for major modifications. Just drill holes and put some inserts.

Also it is so easy to slowly upgrade that motor when you start with 62T bottom end. strokers and bigbore cylinders can be found with easy and also there is ready conversion plates for 62T to 66E engine.

i dream about 951 seadoo engine but it is so hard to find in here with reasonable price that i forgot that.

And i also have almost one complete spare motor.
