Grafitti Hydrographics on 760 Parts

I have a 2018 Superjet coming in today and wanted to dress up some pieces off the 760 I'm dropping into it. Did some hydrodipping at home out of a plastic container and used grafitti and carbon fiber patterns. Still need to clear coat but I'm waiting to do that for when I make sure I'm done dipping everything. Here's some pics

That does look awesome. Where did you get the stuff to do it at home? Everything I've seen is for a commercial application.

• another source for films & activator is "infected hydro" but my work computer wont let me get on their site

Once you have the paint, film, activator and clear, you just need a plastic container to do it in. You can get everything for around $100. More if you choose multiple paint colors and different films

Does it chip off?

I'm sure you could make it chip off if you hit it with something but it is pretty durable. It's clear coated in a clear that has a hardener mixed into it and also has a built in flex agent.

Unfortunately those 760 carbs are not legal for Lites class rules.

Good to know. I didn't plan to race it but was just building it where I could easily sell it if I decided to. I'll never do more than rec ride this thing.
