SXR GroupK big bore sxr.. what next?

Looking for some more power out of my groupk big bore 849cc I asked Harry about a wet pipe with no response. Anyone gone to the next level of adding a wet pipe without going with the 1100? Or is that off the wall?

Open to suggestions.

@user_error maybe can chime in on this subject but I just built a similar setup with 48 novis and a wet pipe and it tears your arms off. Ridden skis with same setup but dry piped and they rip even harder. Whats the rest of your setup , reeds, carbs, compression, ect

a wetpipe would be a good choice with the 849c big bore. Id stay away from the dry pipe with the 849cc kit because with the big bore your sleeves are thin, very thin. Adding a dry pipe that allows you to get several hundred more rpm than a wetpipe will wear out the sleeves much faster and could potentially cause the sleeves to fail more prematurely than if you added a wetpipe and kept the rpm's very close to the oem target max rpm's

My ski has stock carbs (bored I think) I think I will go the wet pipe route. I would do everything minus the timing advance.. the only thing I would have trouble with with the pipe is carb tuning. Oh. And locating one for a decent price.

That's my jetworks/tpe bb sp 795cc. 46 blackacks boyesen intake reed system, rad billet crank, advent ignition, w/c exhaust bored to 50mm port matched to cylinders. I have 3 different chambers I run, she make incredible power all across the board.
