A friend of mine form Holland did this before me, just with a slightly diffrent base model carb, and they worked out pretty good. So im hoping to see some decent gains.
Next up is to weld 2 holes (were the carb throat was penetrated) and then clean it up in the lathe again :)

Yes and no lol :)
They require much more work than i anticipated lol :) On top of a really busy semester, that i have to find a internship for next semester (the last one, also my bachelor assignment) i way to little hours in the day haha.
But i needed to machine the bottom part on the boosters, to clear the throttle plate (as it grew from 47mm to 52mm)
Also had to weld up some holes, were i went through the carb, when machining them up. (1 place is fuel line, and the other place was a thread for the metering block) so after that was welded, they went back in the lathe for "cleaning up"

Sooo, now i still need some work on the boosters. Make a new speedplate and get my intake machined up til 52mm :)
