Freestyle Guide to laydown pipes?...TNT, RRP, Powerfsctor, etc...

Need to purchase a pipe and manifold for my havoc, but I don't know anything about these laydown pipes. Have always used b pipes, what's the story on em? I'm sure what brand is best is very opinion based...does it differ based on motor setup? It will be going on a cast 888 dasa...5 mil stroker. Was built as a race motor but running it for freestyle. What do you guys thing and/or can you point me in the right direction to where I can read up on them?

The positives is they all can work well depending on the package and how well it's tuned.

The negatives from my experience:
PFP can and will eventually crack
RRP heat soak really bad
TNTs seem to develop leaks at the welds
WDK just stay away from that fraud

Aka there is not one super pipe that does it all with no side effects.

Well for one, sold all my b pipes except for one which is in my blaster right now (with a TNT chamber) So that's staying there. But really it just seems like the way to go for more power?

Pfp ran wet is maintenance free if you keep your filters clean.

This may be true, but a wet pfp signs off earlier. Taking a chamber that is designed to stay dry and running it wet will produce great bottom end... but that's it. But like Ashby mentioned, it's about your total package and everything working together.

Before l sold my Havoc l bought an rrp.Decided to set it up in the ski and really had some issues trying to get it to fit correctly.lf l remember correctly,l think the power factor is the only one that will fit well.

I forgot all about that. But I know for a fact that this hull had a v2 tnt pipe in it. I do believe the rrp pipe is fatter though.

I'm completely aware of that. We are talking about a pipe that will suit a brand new builder/freestyler that isn't going to have a competition setup...
I've setup a handful of Pfp wet pipes and they don't fall of nearly as quick as the RRP.

I'd say buy a powerfactor. When it cracks, convert it to a wet pipe.

Haven't heard of the Tnt v3 leaking. I've got 50+ hours on my v3 with no issues. Tim @TnT is extremely helpful with any tuning questions and product support.
